Chairperson, Scientific Committee
Professor Abimbola Windapo
Professor Abimbola Olukemi Windapo is a Professor of Construction Management at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB), a Registered Builder with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), and a Registered Construction Project Manager with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Profession (SACPCMP). She has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. She has practiced in, written, lectured and researched on building regulations, construction innovation, planning, contractor development and project performance.

Professor Ayodeji Aiyetan
Professor Aiyetan, Ayodeji Olatunji is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at the Durban University of Technology, Durban. D Aiyetan holds the following qualifications: B.Sc. Building (1986), M.Sc. Construction Management (both at A.B.U Zaria, Nigeria) and Ph.D. Construction Management 2011 (NMU, PE, South Africa). Professor Aiyetan has published DHET accredited Journal and Conference papers at both National and Internationally.

Dr Nnedinma Umeokafor
Dr Nnedinma Umeokafor is a Programme Leader and Senior Lecturer at the University of Greenwich, UK, with expertise in construction management, project management, occupational health safety, and construction law. He has secured funding from government agencies and charities, has over 80 publications in reputable journals, and is an Associate Editor for Management, Procurement and Law Journal and the Journal of Construction Business and Management. Dr Umeokafor is affiliated with professional bodies such as FHEA, CertIOSH, FAPM, and MCIOB. He has held academic positions in various UK institutions and is an external examiner for various PhD research, undergraduate, and postgraduate degree programs.

Dr Kehinde Alade
An expert in sustainable construction from a leadership and performance perspective. Possess a comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and a thorough understanding of construction disciplines. Have collaborated with multi-cultural and multi-professional teams in the UK and Africa to plan work scope and schedules, monitor progress of work, manage risks and financial budget including quality and legal compliance to ensure projects are delivered safely to clients, on time and within budgets. Committed to solving the greatest global challenges with my expertise through research, teaching, and professional practice!

Dr Iruka Chijindu Anugwoo
Dr Iruka Chijindu Anugwo possesses technical knowledge in the field of construction and project management; and building entrepreneurship, and business strategy. Also, Dr Anugwo expert knowledge and interest are linked to: project management; architecture and built environment practices; building design and procurement; construction management practices; and business development and sustainability. Dr Anugwo is also a fully qualified and a registered incorporated member of the Chartered Institute of Building (ICIOB) with the United Kingdom ICOB professionals. Anugwo’s qualifications include Bachelor of Technology (First Degree Honours) in Project Management Technology, and MSC in Built Environment specializing in Project Management as well as PhD in Construction Management.

Dr Chikezirim Okorafor
Dr C. Okorafor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Building from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Nigeria and obtain an M: Tech degree in Construction Management at Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria South Africa. In 2019, he got his doctoral degree in Civil Engineering at Central University of Technology, Free State South Africa. Currently he is a research fellow/ lecturer at Department of Construction Management & Quantity Surveying Durban University of Technology, Durban South Africa. Dr C. Okorafor has over 15 years of academic and industry experience. His research interest spans across construction project management, construction supply chain management, construction waste management, construction health and safety, energy efficiency in the existing building, sustainable education, low carbon building and circular construction.
