The need for multidisciplinary researches is gaining increasing momentum globally. Construction Business and Project Management Conference is initiated due to the limited existence of research on construction business and project management academic gatherings that brings all stakeholders in the Construction Industry in Africa and worldwide into a unified platform. Such a gathering is needed for academics and industry practitioners to collaborate and brainstorm about the challenges of, and the future directions for construction business and project management in Africa and worldwide. This forum is believed through its collaborative motive to foster changes in the delivery of Construction business and project management in Africa and worldwide.

Keynote Speakers

Professor Erik Bean

Associate professor with K-12 experience in media literacy, customer experience, and cultural competence. Member of International Leadership Association, AACE, and National Council of Teachers of English, and Michigan Chapter Leader in Media Literacy.

Professor George Ofori

Professor at London South Bank University, Director of Research at School of Built Environment and Architecture, Guest Chair Professor at Tsinghua University Beijing, Fellow of Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences; Chartered Institute of Building UK; Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors UK; Society of Project managers Singapore, and CoST Board of Trustees.

Dr Ntebo Ngozwana

Director for Research and Development, Construction Industry Development Board (cidb), with over 30 years of combined experience in research, skills development, enterprise development and sector policy development.

Tamsin Faragher

Built environment specialist, landscape architect, with experience both locally (Cape Town) and internationally (London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi). Worked across disciplines in the private and public sector (provincial and local government) within the planning, built environment, infrastructure planning, environment, water and most recently - food “spaces”.

Professor Vivian W. Y. Tam

Distinguished Professor, ARC Future Fellow, Director, Centre for Infrastructure Engineering, Associate Deans (Research and HDR, & International), Discipline Leader (Construction Management) at Western Sydney University.
